Why Do You Need a Netbook?

Everyone has a netbook nowadays. It has been sold in millions of units and estimations have it that the sales will rise up to 50 million by the end of 2012. You`ve started to think of buying one yourself but you`re still not sure a netbook is what you really need. If you find the following arguments attractive, then you should hurry to the closest IT shop and get your own netbook.

If you`re size-sensitive, then you should find out that the netbook is the smallest laptop computer you can find. The screen size varies from 7 to 12 inches, offering you good clarity of the image and bright colors. Also, the size allows you to put it in places where other computers could never fit: on a cramped desk, in a small brief case, in a school-bag. You can easily use it on your lap, if you`re resting on a bench or if you`re in your bed, at home.

If you like small size, then you will definitely love the 2.9 lb. weight that makes the netbook easy to lug around even by children, women and elders. You can take it with you everywhere you want to, without feeling any discomfort because of the heavy luggage.

As it is designed for easily and rapidly browsing the web, it is ideal for people who use their computer mainly for surfing the net, shopping online, chatting or blogging. It is very easy to use and you can stay connected to the internet wherever you want. Also, it can use most of the OS-es you would also find on a normal PC, like a couple of Windows and Linux distributions, Apple's Mac OS X and some modern lighter OS-es like Moblin or Darwin. Also, it has enough storage space to save all the data you want while surfing the net.

If you hate it when your battery `dies` when you`re in the middle of something, it is best if you get a netbook computer . Its battery, whether it is a 3-4 cell one or a 6 cell, as you can find on the improved models, can keep your netbook going for hours, for you to work or enjoy your free time surfing the net.

If you`re still not completely convinced whether you could use a netbook or not, the price argument might just do the trick. In order to buy a netbook, you don`t have to take more than 500$ out of your pocket. A 10 inch screen model can go as low as 350$.
